To strengthen our fast-growing team, we are seeking a Finance Manager​.

Gen2 Energy’s purpose is to produce green hydrogen on a large scale, make it accessible for many industries and make it easy-to-use for the customer. We wish the green shift to become a reality by supplying clean, green hydrogen to Europe, providing energy for future generations.

We are strengthening our team and are searching for new colleagues that fits into the company´s profile. We need a Finance Manager to support our business and development of our many projects within hydrogen production and value chain. The Finance Manager has two important roles in the Company. You must be able to look ahead as a financial analyst, and also be able to keep track of what has happened in the company as a business controller. You will be involved in developing and maintaining good systems for strategic and financial planning and controlling and support management in executing the company’s strategy and raising capital. ​The Finance Manager will report to the CFO and become part of a creative competence environment in the company. Gen2 Energy has offices in Oslo, Horten and Mosjøen. This position will be in Horten or Oslo.

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain systems, strategic analysis, plan efficient routines for long term financial planning and controlling (financial modelling)

• Support management in capital raising processes, both for equity and debt

• Support the business in treasury matters

• Lead bank project financing activities such as risk assessments and reporting

• Contribute into tasks and projects within M&A

Education and desired skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field

• Experience from financial planning & analysis, transaction services, investment banking, or other relevant experience from the industry

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized

• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent understanding of financial analysis

• A solid understanding of finance and accounting and a natural aptitude for numbers

• Fluent in written and oral English and strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong team-player with excellent analytical, organizational, and communicative skills and you are ability to work under pressure.
