We are now looking for a competent and experienced Specialist Engineer with hydrogen experience.
Duties and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced professional who has (or has the capacity to develop) a deep understanding of hydrogen production units and the necessary components to build one. The ideal candidate will have (or get) extensive knowledge of various hydrogen production technologies and the ability to design, commission, and optimize hydrogen production processes.
It is preferable if the candidate has experience in mechanical, chemical or electro engineering. The most important thing is anyway YOU; your background, and experiences, combined with the potential of what YOU can become, given the right exposure.
We are looking for a forward leaning engineer whose desire is to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Secure a clear understanding of the goals and objectives of the customer and their project and ensure that the study aligns with those objectives.

Assess the feasibility of projects from both a technical, economical and a sustainable perspective. This includes evaluating different design options, determining the most cost-effective and/or sustainable solution.

Create detailed design drawings and specifications that clearly define the project scope, materials, and equipment required.

Coordinate activities with relevant stakeholders (Study Lead, Project Manager, Engineers, Contractors, Suppliers etc.) to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned and integrated.

Prepare cost estimates and schedules.

Conduct or participate in risk assessments.

Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in hydrogen production, storage, and transport.
Qualifications

Preferably Masters degree in mechanical engineering or chemical Engineering or any related field.

Experience and knowledge can conquer the university degree.

Passionate about the energy transition!

Strong understanding of process design, operation, and optimization.

Good knowledge of the Project Execution phases in large industry projects.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Good problem-solving skills: Able to identify and address issues that arise during a project and develop and implement effective solutions to those problems.

Have a flexible and adaptable mindset. Be able to adapt to changing circumstances and be flexible in your approach to problem solving.

Have a strong attention to details and be able to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed accurately and to a high standard.

Strong communication skills: must be able to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including other engineers, contractors, suppliers, and clients. This includes the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
